  1. Cindy,

For a moment I had some difficulty accessing your blog, seems the link was broken. I am glad I was able to find your poem. Although short, I really enjoyed reading this. You and I managed to make our poems rhyme a little. The title of your poem is what struck me most, very powerful and very you. I look forward to seeing more posts from you.
In the meantime, consider having fun with arranging how your blog looks, and give us a little insight in the "About" section to let digital readers get to know a little more about you.
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Cindy,
I love your poem. My favorite part about reading your poem was that I could hear you performing it! Also, the last line of your poem is powerful. I think one of the most important thing as a teacher, and well as a human being, is to be able to modify views. What I took away from that line was a direct line and formed connection to something I value as important in teaching: opening the power of the mind and modifying the way we as human beings think!
